1. Introduction & Regulatory Framework

Hypreom (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides enterprise telematics, IoT asset tracking, loss prevention systems, SARS diesel rebate compliance engines, and ESG operational data platforms across South Africa. We are committed to preserving the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all personal, technical, and operational data collected through our website, web applications, customer portals, and IoT hardware integrations.

This Privacy Policy is drafted in strict compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa (Act No. 4 of 2013), taking into account the lawful processing principles of personal and corporate data.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal & Corporate Contact Data

  • Asset & Equipment Identification: Machine IDs, serial numbers, engine types, VIN numbers, and asset classifications.
  • Geospatial & Telemetry Data: Real-time and historical GPS locations, geofencing logs, speed, route histories, and operational stops.
  • Fuel & Engine Diagnostics: Tank telemetry levels, fuel consumption rates, engine running hours, idling timestamps, flow meter readings, and fault codes.
  • Rebate & Audit Compliance Logs: Session logs, operator activity records, daily dispatch allocations, and SARS rebate calculation documentation.
